Urology and onco-urology

Urology and onco-urology Many years of experience, new high-tech equipment and professional skills of our doctors allow performing the most complicated surgery in urology and onco-urology, including robot-assisted surgery with da Vinci Si system. The surgeon performs surgery with da Vinci by using robot’s “hands” that he or she guides via a console. The da Vinci vision system also delivers highly magnified (up to 10 times), 3D high-definition views of the surgical area. Robot-assisted surgery is an opportunity to perform fine surgical movements with significantly fewer complications and reduced pain.  The technology used reduces recovery time and the medical staff helps patients to undergo the whole treatment and recovery period with more efficiency and comfort.

Treatment methods:

  • Only minimally invasive techniques (mini- and ultra-mini-percutaneous procedures, stones fragmentation with Lumenis and Dornier laser and others);

  • Laparoscopy for upper urinary tract diseases (laparoscopic nephrectomy, renal cyst excision, pyeloplasty in hydronephrosis, laparoscopic nephropexy in prolapsed of the kidney);

  • Early cancer diagnosis using MRI fusion-guided prostate biopsy;

  • Treatment of kidney, prostate, bladder cancer using da Vinci Si robotic system;

  • Prostate cancer treatment with iodine-125 and cesium-131 brachytherapy;

  • Reconstructive surgery for urethral stricture (including multi-stage urethroplasty, buccal urethroplasty);

  • Surgical andrology: surgery for penile curvature, Peyronie's disease, penile implant surgery (one- and three-component penile prostheses);

  • Bipolar transurethral resection of the prostate, laser enucleation of the prostate;

  • Diagnosis and treatment of urinary disorders (complex urodynamic testing), botulinotherapy for neurogenic bladder, treatment with Urostym pelvic floor rehabilitation system;

  • Surgical management of recurrent cystitis (injection of fillers, transposing the urethral meatus, laser ablation for bladder leukoplakia);

  • Treatment for urinary incontinence in men and women (sling procedure, artificial urinary sphincter).
